Terms of service.

These terms cover your use of Toast Roll (toastroll.com). By creating an event or uploading photos, you agree to them. Questions: hello@toastroll.com.

What Toast Roll does

Couples create an event, plan seating for free, and can pay to unlock a photo album that guests upload to by scanning a QR code or entering a guest code.

Your admin code

Your event has no password; the 12-character admin code is the key. Anyone with it can manage the event, so keep it private. If you lose it, you can get a new one sent to the event’s email address.

Payment and refunds

• The photo album costs $39 per event, paid once through Stripe. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
• You can have a full refund any time before the first guest photo arrives. Email hello@toastroll.com; the album locks again after the refund.
• Once guests have uploaded, refunds are at our discretion. A refund never deletes photos already in your album.

How long we keep photos

Uploads are open until 365 days after your wedding date or payment date, whichever is later. After that you have 30 more days to view and download, then the album and its files are deleted. We email reminders 30, 7 and 3 days before the album closes. If you delete your event, it disappears straight away and is permanently erased within 45 days.

Photos and videos

• Guests and couples keep ownership of what they upload. You give us permission only to store, process and show it to people who have the event’s codes, for as long as the album exists.
• Upload only what you have the right to share. No illegal content, nothing that harms or harasses others, and nothing sexual involving anyone under 18.
• Couples can hide or delete any item. Anyone can report a photo; we may remove content that breaks these terms.
• Limits: 50 MB per photo, 500 MB and 60 seconds per video, fair use of 100 GB per event.

Availability

We work hard to keep Toast Roll running and your photos safe, but the service is provided as is. Download your album once the wedding is over; don’t rely on Toast Roll as your only copy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to Toast Roll is limited to the amount you paid us for your event. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.

Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above. Changes don’t reduce what you already paid for.
