Free wedding seating chart maker.
Toast Roll’s seat planner is free with no sign-up or password. You paste your guest list, tap each guest onto a table, and print a clean plan with one block per table.
How it works
- Create an event. Your names, the date and an email. You get an admin code instead of a password.
- Paste your guest list, one name per line, straight from a spreadsheet or your notes.
- Add tables and set how many seats each has. Name them however you like: numbers, places, songs.
- Seat people. On a phone, tap a guest, then a table. On a computer, drag. Full tables are marked, and anyone not yet seated stays in an unseated list.
- Print. The print view gives a title, a block per table with seat counts, and anyone still unseated.
Why couples use it
- It autosaves, and opens on any device with your admin code, so you can plan with your partner on two phones.
- No spreadsheet formulas, no account, no trial that runs out.
- When you’re ready, the same event becomes your guest photo album: guests scan a QR on their table and upload their photos ($39 once, optional).
Seating chart tips
- Seat the couple’s table and immediate family first, then fill outwards by group: college friends, work, neighbours.
- Leave one or two seats free across the room for late RSVPs.
- Print the plan for your venue coordinator a week before, and again after final RSVPs.
